Vertex Standard VX-2100/2200

The VX-2100/2200 series is designed to cover the full band of frequencies in the VHF and upper range of the UHF bands. This gives you broader band coverage in just one long-range radio.

Opt for the VX-2100 series with 8 channels for easy operation or the VX-2200 series with 128 channels for large group communication. Either way, efficiency is maximised.

Unlike other two-way mobile radios, the VX-2100/2200 series provides exceptional flexibility in scanning features to optimise your operations in different types of environments. In addition to basic scan, this Vertex Standard two-way radio also comes with Priority, Dual Watch, Follow-me, Follow-me Dual Watch and Talk Around scanning with a built-in programmable home channel function.

The VX-2100/2200 Series comes in a standard format with built-in Emergency and Lone Worker alerts to enhance the safety of your drivers.

By adding the optional VME-100 board to your long-range two-way radio, you can make your VX-350 Series complement the rest of your MDC-1200® fleet.

Like all other Vertex Standard radios, the VX-2100/2200 Series is designed to inform you when another ARTS™-equipped station is within communication range. It is a great solution to keep your workers coordinated.

Vertex Standard VX-4500/4600 Series

Extended Signaling and Security. Both radios provide a full range of signaling capabilities including 2-tone, 5-tone and MDC-1200® encode/decode for selective calling.

Private communication is supported by built-in voice inversion encryption. And, if a radio is ever lost or stolen, 5-tone remote stun/kill/revive can be activated to ensure messages are only heard by those intended.
Features Channel Annoucement which loudly speaks the current channel description to simplify changing channels when focused on other tasks simultaneously.

Includes voice activation (VOX) that enables users to transmit voice without pressing the Push to Talk button on the microphone. Enables hands-free operation for convenience. 
In noisy environments, activate the Clear Voice function to enhance audio transmit to ensure your message is heard. And, to ensure a radio is not accidentally turned down too low, a minimum volume limit can be programmed by your Dealer.

Whisper mode is also included to augment audio transmit when talking quietly is necessary for discreet communications.
Record and store up to 120 seconds for keeping an audible record of important messages using the optional DVS-8 Voice Storage unit.
